This document describes the cookie policy of the Central Hostel BG ("CH BG") websites, registered office in Bergamo, Via Ghislanzoni 30, VAT no. 03478340163. The terms "you" and "user" refer to individuals and/or companies accessing the CH BG websites or their services.
Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user's device to make them work, remember preferences or collect statistical and marketing information about browsing.
These are essential for the website to work properly (session management, storing your cookie choice, submitting the booking form, load balancing). They do not require consent and are always installed. This category also includes the cookieconsent_status cookie, which stores the choice made on the banner.
CH BG uses, only with the user's consent, the following third-party tools, managed through Google Tag Manager:

Some content is designed not to set cookies: the site's fonts are served from our own server (not Google Fonts); the map on the “Reach us” page is provided by OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom), which uses no cookies; videos are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which sets no tracking cookies when the page loads, but once you press play it may store data in your browser and Google receives your IP address. The “Directions” link opens Google Maps only if clicked.
