This document describes the cookie policy of the Central Hostel BG ("CH BG") websites, registered office in Bergamo, Via Ghislanzoni 30, VAT no. 03478340163. The terms "you" and "user" refer to individuals and/or companies accessing the CH BG websites or their services.

Technical (necessary) cookies

These are essential for the website to work properly (session management, storing your cookie choice, submitting the booking form, load balancing). They do not require consent and are always installed. This category also includes the cookieconsent_status cookie, which stores the choice made on the banner.

Analytics and marketing cookies (third party)

CH BG uses, only with the user's consent, the following third-party tools, managed through Google Tag Manager:

Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC): to measure and analyse browsing on the site in aggregate form.
Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms Inc.): to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and conversions (e.g. booking requests).

Thanks to Google's Consent Mode technology, until you give your consent these tools remain disabled and do not install analytics or marketing cookies. The data collected may be transferred to the United States; such transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. How to give or withdraw consent

On your first visit the site shows a banner where you can accept or reject analytics and marketing cookies. Consent is optional and can be withdrawn at any time:

by disabling or deleting cookies in your browser settings: Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Edge.
